eCORRECTOR is pleased to announce that it has begun providing our proofreading services to the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology. eCORRECTOR was awarded a contract to proofread the Institute?s Annual Report, in an open tender competition, at the end of 2016. The Annual Report consists of a series of manuscripts which document some of the key research findings from members of the Institute. This type of project is directly in line with our mission statement, which is to provide language support for Polish scientists to break down any language barriers so that the science speaks for itself.
Proofreading is carried out by our expert proofreaders who hold PhDs in areas directly related to the content of the text, for example Chemistry and Engineering. This type of proofreading ensures that the final text is both grammatically correct, expressed in a clear way, and scientific integrity is maintained. eCORRECTOR have a strong and successful track-record working with individual academics and directly with several scientific institutes within Poland. This means we are able to identify what is required for each individual text to raise the standard to publication quality.
The Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology already gained a strong international reputation due, in part, to its successful publication record. The Institute was established in the 1980s and for more than 30 years has conducted research on topics such as radiochemistry, nuclear or radiation physics and chemistry, chemical, process and material engineering, radiobiology as well as analytical chemistry and environmental protection. The findings from recent studies carried out by its researchers are published in the Institute?s Annual Report, which has been issued for over a decade. Each volume of several hundred pages contains reports and information concerning scientific achievements and the life of the Institute, e.g. descriptions of grants, diploma research, and didactic activities.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology for awarding us this proofreading tender and wish members of the Institute every success in their future research activities.
