In June, we successfully carried out almost 250 translations and proofreading jobs. These include substantial texts in excess of 20,000 words. This month we have also proofread manuscripts for a number of different scientists across Poland and a series of texts for the journals Acta Innovations and the Scientific Journals of the Maritime Academy in Szczecin.
We attribute the continued growth of eCORRECTOR to the individual approach we take to each text we receive and the high standards of quality control employed. Manuscripts are only proofread by native speakers from the same area to ensure the text is edited with understanding. At eCORRECTOR, we strictly monitor all aspects of the proofreading process from the moment we receive the texts (to ensure the appropriate proofreader is chosen) through to final checks before the files are sent back to the author in a timely manner. We are particularly pleased with our high return rate which demonstrates we can provide high quality texts alongside excellent customer service.
June was also the month that we launched a new series of guides for academics. The Polish and English writing guide for the Social Sciences highlighted the most crucial aspects when preparing a manuscript in this field of science. The guide also gives tips on how to improve the reception of the text. Writing guides for the Chemical Sciences and Molecular Biology will follow in the coming months.
