eCORRECTOR was awarded the title of The Best Academic Proofreading Service in 2023 by the SME News in its annual Southern Enterprise Awards – awards that showcase businesses that excel in their field.
eCORRECTOR provides specialist proofreading & editing by native speakers of English who hold a PhD (or doctor of medicine degree) to scientists whose first language is not English. The vast majority of our editors and proofreaders are active researchers, have published their own research and remain well aware of how to improve the quality of a paper.
Our mission statement is to provide language support to academics to break down any language barriers so that the results speak for themselves.
In addition to that we also offer translation services in many languages from around the globe. But that is not all, we also provide help by preparing writing guides, conducting plagiarism check, and assisting in manuscript formatting and submission process.
eCORRECTOR was established in 2014 by Dr. hab. Mark Jeremy Hunt (Trinity College, University of Cambridge) and Dorota Sakowska-Hunt, MBA (International University of Monaco). Over the past decade, eCORRECTOR has grown primarily by word-of-mouth. In 2020 we received Cambridgeshire Prestige Awards 2020 for the best Translation Specialists of the Year. We have built long-standing cooperation with a large number of academics, institutes, and universities who frequently use our language services in Poland and across Europe, that is why we managed to obtain the Best Academic Proofreading Service 2023 award.
An official public announcement will be taking place on the SME News website in October 2023. Our profile as the Best Academic Proofreading Service will be featured in the Southern Enterprise Awards annual celebratory magazine, a high-quality publication dedicated entirely to our 2023 awardees – circulated to in excess of 78,000.
